ਹੰਸਲੀ ਨਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਈਡ ਲਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਜੰਗੀ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਜਾਰੀ .

ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਤਹਿਤ 10 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੰਸਲੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਚੌੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਕਿਆਂ ਬਟਾਲਾ, 3 ਮਈ (ਨੀਰਜ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ/ ਜਸਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ/ ਵਿਨੋਦ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ) - ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਤਿ੍ਰਪਤ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਟਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਬਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਦਿੱਖ ਦੇਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਰੰਗ ਲਿਆਉਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

 ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਟਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੰਸਲੀ ਨਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਈਡ ਲਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਜੰਗੀ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਹੰਸਲੀ ਨਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਬਟਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਮੇਅਰ ਸ. ਸੁਖਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੇਜਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ ’ਤੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਮੌਕੇ ’ਤੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਤੇ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਤਿ੍ਰਪਤ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੰਸਲੀ ਨਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਈਡ ਲਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਤਹਿਤ 10 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਾਹਨੂੰਵਾਨ ਰੋਡ ਤੋਂ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਰੋਡ ਤੱਕ ਹੰਸਲੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੌੜਿਆਂ ਕਰਕੇ 15 ਤੋਂ 20 ਫੁੱਟ ਚੌੜੀ ਸੜਕ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੇ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਬਦਲਵੀਂ ਸੜਕ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਟਰੈਫਿਕ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਹੱਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੰਸਲੀ ਨਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਕਿਨਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਕਿਆਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਦਿੱਖ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੰਸਲੀ ਨਾਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੇ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੰਸਲੀ ਨਾਲਾ ਬਟਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
